Zitat von Sofia Neumann am Januar 9, 2026, 8:19 a.m. UhrHello,
Yes, it is possible for non-EU international students to work a maximum of 15 hours per week during study periods and a maximum of 42 hours per week during semester breaks/holidays. However, you MUST have a valid work permit which your employer must apply for at the cantonal immigration authorities. Additionally, the university may need to confirm that employment will not interfere with your studies. In some cases, there is a maximum limit of failed courses taken into consideration.
Best of luck in your studies!
